Not only does the psychedelic flavour on show here sensibly add to the mix, but there is a level of real sophistication to be found from the animated calling of the video. It adds allure in a way that takes the lustre in the calling to a place of prominence. In some ways there is a hint of Pink Floyd’s ‘Brick In The Wall’ about the aesthetic because it embraces those old school sensibilities by bringing a trippier affair through with the ‘rough around the edges’ appeal of the sketchings. That is cartoonised in a way that is rather smart and beguiling. What is also noted here is how the 60’s revisionist vibe of the track is carefully called upon because it is very well tailored to how the music plays its part here.
