THE SPECTORS – ‘Wrong’

This Belgian band are another U&I office favourite and with this track they show why. Everything about it has this timeless quality which you immediately pick upon. The detailed way that the arrangement is layered also adds something committed from the band which is wonderfully executed. As such the strong resolve in the workings brings a sense of volume to the fore which implicitly falls into place. You get swept up in the vocals just as easily. But how it is shot is also rather telling. How it looks and feels are a very fine combination here because it feels as if the weight of the song falls kindly upon it from how it is presented overall. You note it for all the right reasons. That is a charm offensive quality that falls into place in a way that adds to the enchantment on show.
