LITTLE BROTHER ELI – ‘Who Do You’

Sometimes it is good to just let the music do the talking and that is kind of what you get with this video. The lean blues and rock calling of the song is appreciated here. But there is a distinctly indie apparel about this which works extremely well. The setting of a vacant school assembly work rather well and the subsequent cross sections in the editing give it a mid-1990’s appeal. It is the simplicity on show here that is what it is all about. You can either admire that or ask that a video should offer more, but here they manage to get it right with a mantra of ‘less is more’ because it allows you pick up on the delivery of the tune throughout. The black and white imagery at the end also fastens everything down in a fashionable way. It is not necessarily a video that pushes everything visually but the direction is keyed in neatly which underlines the effectiveness suitably.
