Initially you don’t know what to make of this video. The vintage feel of the way it is shot allows the psychedelic side come through comparatively in the visual aesthetic. That holds in a way that retains a harder processing. As such the alternative/progressive elements shine in a noted way. The partial way that it is all dispensed allows those ‘trippier’ touches find their place. The lo-fi apparel of the artistic merit does add some true substance to everything as whole. When you take the video and judge it on those merits there is a telling art-house feel at work which serves its purpose. But additionally the innate distinction of the sound the band are attempting to go for is also pulled off and that also sells you on how it all comes together as a whole.
