STEPHANIE RAINEY – ‘What You’re Missing’

This is another female artist on the Irish circuit that we are very familiar with here at U&I. She is blessed with an incredible amount of potential as a performer and a prolific level of ability as a songwriter which shows with this effort. What is shown in this acoustic version of her track captures her understanding of the intimate superbly. The finite purity harbours all of the emotion here in a telling fashion. As a result the sensitivity is channeled through with an accuracy that converses upon everything with an abject sense of brilliance. The clean way it is all relayed shows how invested she is on an artistic level here. This is explicitly called out with the emotive side of everything impressing for all the right reasons. Perhaps it is the stripped back version of it here that adds the additional level of distinction to this track but there is no mistaking that it is presented in a way that leaves a lasting impression for all the right reasons.
