We have seen this band perform live on the Dublin circuit in the past and they always deliver a top drawer show each time. We have always picked up on a fitting comparison with The Doors from the band and here they also embrace that roadhouse style in an engaging way. Yet there is something about the lyrics and their own raw sensibilities that is on a par with the intellectual work of Ian Curtis on the songs of ‘Unknown Pleasures’. There is a sense of romanticism found in their calling. That is incredibly well suited to the graphic nature of the video. Yet that showing is not glamorised. More, if anything, it seems to be a fitting narrative is a natural extension of the lyrical projection. This is a clever video.
