STEPHEN LANGSTAFF – ‘Sirens’

A tidy and tune that has a decent level of appeal going for it. The arrangement sees this right and the meander of the tempo has a well judged calling which suits how it is all laid out. Holding those ornate attributes in check allows the running to be a steady affair here from beginning to end. It is all balanced and because of that consideration it never loses focus. There is also a commensurate accountability in how the pop sensibilities are kept grounded in the overall showing.
